Hip hip HURRAY! I finally finished my bridging modules' lesson! What's left is just a paper on wed!! =) Can't wait for wed to arrive seriously!
Saw Jojo at bugis today! I was walking to my parents' shop, while Jojo was meeting her mom! I called her after my lesson ended so we arranged to meet outside topshop! Was being stopped by a "ah-zhong" and she asked if I'd like to be a model? haha~ Its a fraud la. I know!!!
When I was younger, before I joined SQ, I was always being approached by such "talent-scouting" pple. Being young and gullible, I was actually foolish enough (thinking I'm able to make the cut) to fall into their scam. I was being tricked to go to their office and there are pple trying to con me into paying to take picture in their studios to own a portfolio!!
But.. I woke up from it!! Lucky me! haha. Nope I didn't take any pictures, so I didn't had any portfolio!
But seriously even if I had the chance to enter this industry I wouldn't want to either. Before I joined SQ, I dabble with a little of modelling jobs. Not really modelling per se, but just some events. I remember I did this Johnnie walker event, I even had to borrow boots from some pple, seriously I forgot whom I borrowed from.
When I was doing this event, I did the event in clubs basically, I met this guy whom was from some agency quite well-known in the modelling arena. He said I had the potential to become a model, and suggest we meet up one day for drinks to discuss.
I went online (to the agency's website) to check the authenticity of this guy, and agreed to meet him. OKIE, I admit its vanity!
Bloody hell, when we met.. He was practically all over me, shoulders and lap, not anywhere else. But I felt damn uncomfy! I left in like 10 minutes, telling him I wasn't interested in any of the offers he made. (he asked me to join a contest to make myself known and he will secure more job opportunities for me)
He apologised saying that he was brought up overseas thus he's more open. *PUI!!! Its a damn dark field la. Probably not so for well-known models. But for "models-wannabe" its so.... but i am sure there will be girls willing to sacrifice something for fame.
okie, I side-tracked alot! Back to my happiness!! Love it that my bridging modules are over. I am super anticipating for my real lessons to start!
