BKK: 25-29 Sept 'o8

I heart BKK, went on a 5 days 4 night trip with Bf on the 25th-29th Sept. Its our 4th trip to BKK, 2nd time this year. We stayed in Baiyoke Sky, its not exactly 5 star but the facilities are good enough for us. Most importantly yours truely heart the buffet breakfast they offered. And a plus point is that Baiyoke Sky is the tallest hotel in Thailand so the view is spectacular!

I spent 1.5hrs uploading the pictures. So enjoy!

Day 1

We left my place at about 1pm and head for airport.

We reached Changi Airport Terminal 1 at about 1.20pm, and its too early for check-in so we went to had our lunch at Popeye. By the time we finished was already 1.45pm so we checked-in and we to explore T3 after clearing immigration. =)

No doubt Changi airport is the best. So green and nice!

Bf being forced. What a sheepish smile.

I heart this picture. =D

We went into Butterfly garden in T3. Pretty. Did I said Changi Airport is the best?

I managed to take a picture even though I am terrified of butterflies.

The flowers that the butterflies feed on.

The lovely clouds.

Started snapping as Airasia has no inflight entertainment. But Bf doesn want to take with me. He is too engross in what he is doing.

After lunch we walked around the vicinity of Pratunam and decided to walk over to Erawan Shrine.

Erawan Shrine that holds the 4-faced Buddha, many celebrities come here to pray.

Can even hire dancers to show your sincerity.

Afterwhich, we decided to go to Maboonkong (MBK) hence we walked over to the BTS station nearby (Chit Lom) and took the train. Its our first time after 4 trips to BKK. We are only going to take for 1 station to Siam station.

There is a concert at Siam Square, opp MBK. And I tell you, even though its bright day light, but the audience are high man. They really dance to the music.

Afterwhich, we had our dinner at Somboon Seafood. Bf went to forum and search for good seafood restaurant and found out that Somboon Seafood is one of the best around. So we decided to make a trip there. We printed maps in Singapore and did all our homework before heading off to BKK okie.

Cant wait to dig into the food.

Their specialty, Curry Crab. It was disappointing! Chilli Crabs win hands down! =(

Kang Kong was nice but too oily. =(

Prawn vermicilli. Only had 2 prawns in it. =(

Overall, we felt the best dish was the rice. It was well-cooked and fragrant. Sadded la.
