In UK they celebrate mother's day in Mar/Apr. the celebration of mother's day in May started in 1912 (North America).
When I was younger I always ask mommy what she wants for mother's day/ birthday? The reply I get will always be the same, for you and 弟弟 to be 乖乖. So when I was poorer I would always make her a card. One mother's day/ birthday, I felt richer (although its all my savings in the piggy bank) and I bought her a Guess watch. I liked that design.
When I gave it to her she was so happy. But in the end I was the one who wears it, because she had Rolex. Since then I knew unless I can give the something more than she already owned, I decided to be 乖乖 as my gift to her.
2010, I am poor. Thus I decided to make her a card.
A piece of paper not much bigger than an A4-size paper, but yet it holds so much.

Wonderful broth with a crabmeat dumpling. The dumpling skin is actually egg white! damn amzing.
Roasted Chix. (we actually order roasted duck, but the guy made mistake. In the end they gave us a plate of roasted duck with char siew (烧腊) FOC! I forgotten to take the pic of the duck!) It was yummy though!!
Pork Chop!! Super yummy!!!! Usually I'm not a really meat-girl! but this pork chop is super yummy that I had double serving!!!
